Summer Days

Summer days are....

The days where there seems to be not a single care in the world.
The moments of silence under the shade of a tall oak.
Picnics on the beach, with the smell of saltwater in the air.
The cool wind on a warm day blowing through the tall grass.
Climbing apple trees.
Running barefoot through a field of fresh cut grass.
Drinking cold lemonade by the pool.
And simply enjoying life.

I'll miss these summer days.

Once upon a Face Mask....

Once upon a time, I went for a sleepover at a friends cottage. We played board games, and watched TV. But the funnest part (yes, funnest is a word in my vocabulary) was when we did our facials. Face masks are a pretty amusing thing to do when your with a friends, and you're already super giddy. Cucumbers, friends, and little packets of goo make a great combination! Here are some pictures I thought I'd show you of us being goofy.

Kyra and me (after). We had peelable masks (they were clear) so we decided to do moustaches with some of the other left overs. Good times.

The next morning I woke up with a swollen face and a rash. Turns out I'm allergic to peelable face masks :b Oh well!

The End.

Musical Monday // Concerts

I love concerts. Well, let me clarify - I love Christian concerts with my favourite bands or artists. Last year on September 16th I had the privilege of attending MapleNoise 2011. It was amazing! We heard some awesome music from Thousand Foot Krutch, ToTell, Greg Sczebel, Manifest, Newsboys and tons more. Every time I go to a concert I always end up liking the artist's music way more than I did before. Concerts are so much more than just hearing music. You get to watch music, and sometimes participate in it too. In the past two years I have been so blessed to attend a really good amount of concerts. I love it! So I wanted to take this time to ask you if there is any really cool concert you went to. If there is, please comment. I really appreciate everyone's thoughtfulness.

Thanks,

Emma-lee

PS: If you ever get the chance to go to a maplenoise tour. Go, you will not regret it.
